Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what you hand us. We use it to run the course, book the call, or answer your email. We do not sell it. We do not run a drip sequence after Day 5. If you want it deleted, email Kyle. He replies within 24 business hours.

If you only want those four sentences, you can stop here. The rest is the same thing, with the details filled in.

Who we are

This site is run by Sling Automation LLC.

Sling is a named-founder B2B AI and operations consultancy for Front Range small and mid-size businesses. The founder is Kyle Crone, based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (raised in Littleton). The person who answers is the founder.

There is no street address published on the site. If you need to send paper, email Kyle and he will give you a mailing address.

What we collect

1. The 5-day course (the email form on this site)

The footer form — and the signup on /education — asks for one thing: your email. That is the only first-party form on the site today. There is no separate multi-field contact form.

We use that email to send five lesson emails, one a day. The live site already says: no fluff, no upsell, no drip sequence on day 6. Unsubscribe kills it instantly. We mean that.

The form posts your email to a small Cloudflare Worker we run, which adds you to the course list.

2. Booking a Discovery Call (Calendly)

Calendly collects whatever its form asks for — typically your name, email, timezone, the slot you pick, and any notes or questions on that form. Calendly also sets its own cookies and has its own privacy policy. We use what they pass us to show up for the call and, if there's a fit, to send the hours estimate.

The call is 30 minutes, free, no pitch. After you book, you are talking to Kyle, not an SDR.

3. Email (and the other ways in)

If you write kyle@slingautomation.com, specialists@slingautomation.com, or partners@slingautomation.com, we have whatever you put in the message: name, company, the problem, attachments.

Same idea if you message Kyle on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/kylecrone). That lives on LinkedIn's side; we only keep what we need to reply.

Phone: the site does not publish a number. Kyle shares it in the email reply, on purpose, to keep the spam down. If you call or text after that, we have your number.

Reply time: first reply within 24 business hours. Usually faster. Business hours here are Mountain Time, Tuesday through Friday, same window we hold meeting slots.

4. What the website itself sees

The site is a Next.js app hosted on Vercel. Like every host, Vercel logs ordinary request data: IP address, pages, browser, timestamps. We do not use that to build a marketing profile.

We do not run Google Analytics, ad pixels, or a marketing analytics suite on this site.

Calendly's embed is a third-party widget. It can set cookies. That is Calendly, not a Sling tracker.

5. Paid work (not this form, mentioned so the split is clear)

If we take an engagement, you will send us real business information: workflows, credentials, data, Slack, the COS login, source in your repo. That is client work. It is covered by the written estimate / statement of work, and by an NDA if we sign one (the site already says yes, we sign NDAs, and we can send a mutual one within an hour of the call request). This Privacy Policy does not replace that paperwork.

What we do with it

• Send the five course emails, and nothing after that unless you ask.
• Book and run the Discovery Call.
• Reply to you. Scope hours if there's a fit. Send the rate in writing, on the call, the way the site already promises.
• Keep the lights on (hosting, security, making sure the form actually works).
• If you apply to the specialist network or a partner path, use that email to talk about that — not to enroll you in the course unless you also signed up.

We do not use course signups as a lead-nurture list. Day 6 is silence unless you booked a call or wrote us.

Who else sees it

A one-person shop still uses tools. The ones that can see site-collected data:

• Kyle / Sling — To run the course, take the call, answer email.
• Vercel — Hosts the site. Sees ordinary server logs.
• Cloudflare — Runs the course signup Worker. Sees the email you submit and ordinary request metadata.
• Calendly — Runs the booking calendar. Sees the booking fields.
• Your email provider, and ours — If you email us, both inboxes have the message.
• LinkedIn — Only if you write Kyle there.

Specialists in the Sling network are US-based and contract with Sling. They do not get the public course list or random site signups. They only see client information when they are on that engagement.

The site was built by Atomic Finch. Building a site is not the same as reading your inbox. They are not on the course list and they are not on your Discovery Call.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not hand the course list to a partner firm.

If we are ever legally required to hand something over (a valid subpoena, a court order), we will do the minimum the law requires.

How long we keep it

• Course email: for the five days, then as long as you stay on the list. Unsubscribe and we drop you from sends. We may keep a bare suppression record (your email, and that you opted out) so we do not email you again by mistake.
• Calendly booking: as long as Calendly keeps it, plus whatever we need to show up and follow up on that call. If the call ends with "not a fit," we do not keep a shadow CRM of you.
• Email you send: as long as the conversation is useful, then ordinary inbox retention. Ask us to delete a thread and we will, except where we have to keep a record (an invoice, a signed estimate, a legal hold).
• Server logs: whatever Vercel and Cloudflare keep by default. We do not export those into a marketing tool.

What we do not do

• Sell personal information.
• Run a day-6 drip, a "just checking in" sequence, or a retargeting ad off this list.
• Require an account to read the site.
• Collect payment card numbers on this site. Hourly work is billed after a written estimate, not through a checkout form here.
• Use your course homework or your Discovery Call as a public case study without your say-so.
• Train a public model on your email, your call, or your company's data.

Your rights (plain English)

Email kyle@slingautomation.com and say what you want. That is the whole process.

You can ask us: what we have on you; to correct it; to delete it; to take you off the course list (the unsubscribe link also does this).

Kyle replies within 24 business hours. If we cannot do a thing (for example, we have to keep an invoice), we will say so and why.

We will not treat you worse for asking.

Colorado, and other US state privacy laws

Sling Automation LLC is based in Colorado and works with US businesses. We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for targeted advertising. We will still honor access, correction, and deletion requests from anyone who emails us, Colorado or not. If we decline a request, we will say why, and you can reply and ask us to look again.

This site is aimed at US businesses. We are not set up as an EU/UK service and we are not appointing an EU representative. If you are outside the US and you still use the site, the same "email Kyle" process applies; the data is handled in the United States.

Kids

This site is for business operators. It is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we got an email from a kid, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that actually matters (new form, new vendor, a real analytics tool), we will update the date at the top. The live page is the current one. We will not hide a new tracker behind a silent rewrite.
